The Scituate Board of Health has moved to an online process for permit applications. Application fees can now be paid online using a credit card, or by ACH.

Log into Permiteyes with your username / password credentials, then click on the application you want to submit. When your Application is submitted, you may attach any important documentation using the PAPERCLIP icon.
Once you submit your application, the Board of Health will get back to you with your fee you can online.
Once the application fee has been calculated by the Board of Health, click on the "pay now" button to make an online payment transaction. An online payment transaction interface will open and clicking on the submit button will redirect you to the banking portal to complete your online payment.

BOH office is closed to the public on the following days and hours:
Tuesday Mornings 8:30am-11:00am
Wednesday Mornings 9:30am-11:30am
The Public Health Nurse is available on Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
The Board of Health is empowered by the Town of Scituate Charter and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts General Laws to review and take direct action on any issues of public health. The three members of the Board are appointed by the Selectmen to serve multiple terms of up to three years per term.
The Board of Health meets approximately every two weeks on Mondays to review information on:
- Public Health Programs
- Various Types of Applications
- Issues of Non-Compliance
- Plans for the development of public and private property in the Town
The Board generally proceeds to a final action on any information presented at the conclusion of each review process. Preparation of information or applications to be presented to the Board will be preliminarily reviewed by the Director. Schedule of public hearings is arranged through the Director, Assistant Director or Administrative Assistant.
